My partner bought his Kuga from Matlock Ford and the service he received from Antony Bridger was excellent. So much so that I returned a couple of months later and purchased a Fiesta when once again the service from Antony was excellent. Today my partners Kuga was booked in for a service and we had told them that we would wait for the vehicle. We duly dropped it off at 10.30am and were told it would take a couple of hours so we returned at 12.30 and were given cups of coffee as the service “hadn’t quite finished”!!! Having waited for well over an hour I asked how much longer we were likely to have to wait only to be told that no one was working on the vehicle at that time as it was lunch time!! We eventually got the vehicle back at 2pm – an hour and a half later than first told! We even had to request that it not be washed and vacuumed as we couldn’t wait any longer. Obviously we found this whole experience very unsatisfactory as we were not kept informed at all as to why we were having to wait so long. This has tarnished our view of Matlock Ford and makes it highly unlikely that I will return when the service is due on my vehicle. All that was needed was to have been kept informed. Extremely disappointing!!
We have used matlock Ford on several occasions for a number of our company vehicles . never had a problem always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful . And especially kerri Harris on the front desk. So helpful, friendly and always happy . A total credit to Matlock ford .

I came from Leicester to collect and its an amazing car I LOVE IT!
They both did everything that the both said they would, they treated me with respect and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and buy another car from ford matlock.
I have had issues with my brand new shape fiesta brought in evans halshaw Leicester and I wished I would have came here first they really are both amazing salesmen.

Thank you to Anthony Bridger for sourcing my S Max from Ford Direct. The car is absolutely brilliant and the service has been first class. Anthony has now sold me three cars over recent years. Having enquired at state of the art franchises (Audi, BMW, VW) I was much happier dealing in a more traditional manner. The whole process was stress free, straight forward and quick.

What a great buying experience 🙂 After getting a bit disillusioned by the lack of choice and attitude of main dealers in the South West, we spotted the Mondeo we wanted online at Matlock Ford. After having a couple of no messing calls with them we drove 4 hours up from Devon to do a deal. They matched the best trade-in offer we had received and buying a pre-registered car from them saved us thousands too. It was a pleasure dealing Dave Evans and Irvine Pilgrim. How often can you say that about car salesmen?

Just bought a car from Matlock Ford. Initially we had looked around the larger regional and national dealerships, which wasn’t a great experience. I don’t know why we had gone down this route, the car we were replacing was bought from a large dealership and that hadn’t been an altogether satisfactory transaction, though we did get the car we wanted.
We had a couple of cars on our shortlist and we found, via the internet, that Matlock Ford had several of both. So whilst it was a bit of a hike we felt it was worth taking a look. The cars were there, onsite, as described on the Matlock Ford website, which hadn’t always been the case with the larger dealers.
We were shown the cars and left to our own devices, no sales pressure, no time pressure just helpful and knowledgeable advice as required. We left to reflect upon what we had seen and didn’t really have much hesitation in going ahead and making the purchase, the car was right, the attitude of the people we had met a Matlock Ford was right.
When we collected the car it was immaculately prepared and presented.
The whole process worked for us, a thoroughly pleasant experience, we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Matlock Ford to anyone.
